The Department of Earth Sciences at IIT Roorkee brings world-class expertise in hydrology, geomorphology and watershed sciences. Under the SARRA initiative, the department has been assigned the Fika River in Udham Singh Nagar district for scientific sub-catchment analysis and river rejuvenation planning. The MoU process is currently in progress.
