IISWC Dehradun is a national institute under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research specialising in soil and water conservation research. Under the SARRA One District-One River initiative, IISWC has been assigned river Kamal Ganga in Uttarkashi district for sub-catchment prioritisation and rejuvenation planning. Budget has been sanctioned and the MoU signing process is currently underway.
